An aromantic asexual werewolf is completely unheard of. Especially one that is female. According to packwolves, females are inferior to males. They are to learn to fight, to go to school, become educated so they may properly take care of their mate, and complete the mating process. A mating process that Sylvia despises. Mates are supposed to love and support each other, but when Sylvia's soon-to-be Alpha rejects her over her sexuality and rejects her from the pack, she and her wolf decide they never needed a mate anyway. All of these characters reside in the town of Wamego, Kansas. They're 9th graders at Wamego High School. Scarlet, Eli, and Drew met during middle school and found a bond by being at the bottom of the social ladder. They always have lunch together and are constantly at eachother's houses after school. The story begins halfway through their 9th grade year, and the trio is closer than ever. They are learning to navigate a new school and their own lives and identities when they are confronted with a mysterious death. (Possible spoilers in TW/Tags) !!!TW!!! There are several painful/stressful deaths implied and one shown and described. There is no real blood but there is a substance with a resemblance to blood. There are also some implication of abuse/trauma/bullying! Be careful if any of this triggers you and if see something that could trigger someone I didn't mention tell me! My writing can be pretty dark, and I want to make sure everyone reading my work is safe!
