(Cover work in progress) Story written by: Kadaj (Kuja's best friend) This is a story based on the events of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. It contains spoilers for said movie, but is written in an alternate universe, where the characters act differently and meet different fates as they do in the movie. Now that that's made clear, let's get into the story's plot. Darth Maul, Sith apprentice of Darth Sidious, is sent by his master to find the ship of the queen of Naboo. He located it on the desert planet Tattooine. Going to find the Jedi who traveled with the queen, he makes acquaintance with a specific someone - Qui-Gon Jinn's young Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi...

About ten years later, snake soup was still cooked in the ascetic's abode, although it was now poured into three bowls instead of one. Experience had taught the former knight to avoid the concepts of "always" and "never", but the stranger the turns life took, the more often he found solace in the thought: in these turns lay the desired stability.
