Bilbo is small, but he feels much more than he lets on. Hiding behind a respectful nod and a blinding smile he thinks he can manage. For as long as he needs to, he can hide behind his smile. He'll protect his friends from the venom brewing within his mind and his heart - why? Because he's Bilbo Baggins of course. And Bagginses are above all else, respectable.

(Takes place after Thorin and co. Discover that Bilbo hadn't followed them out of the midst of the goblins.) Thorin discovers his foolishness. And his love. (Two-shot)

Bilbo Baggins has always been a very reserved hobbit. That is, after his mother's death he has been. He used to be adventurous, smart, unique. Not sitting around cross-stitching and making things that have no use in the end. But after his mother, Belladonna Took passed away he had no reason to be adventurous anymore. For when she died, his dreams of exploration did too. But what happens when a wizard shows up, disturbing his peaceful life? And what happens when a group of dwarves comes knocking on his green round door, speaking of adventure and everything Bilbo and his mother used to dream of? What happens when Bilbo learns more about who he is and where he truly came from? Long-covered secrets become uncovered, the most unlikely friends are made, and that long dreamt of adventure finally comes. I sadly do not own the hobbit or any of their characters - there might be OC's though, who knows... The story is the same, thirteen dwarves, a hobbit and a wizard set out on a quest to free the kingdom of erebor from the clutches of smaug the terrible. But this time they are joined by someone quite different on this journey... an elf maid. When finding out who she truly is will the company be able to accept her as one of there own? And how will the others react when they find out Kili has fallen for her? Will Thorin be able to forget his past ignorance of the elves? Or let his anger get the best of him and ruin the whole quest for everyone?

Frodo, ever the artist, wants to draw something special for Sam, for Valentines day. But when he finally settles on what to draw, he fears it may reveal his true feelings. Can he work up the courage to tell his friend how he really feels? Modern Lord of the Rings AU. Frodo/Sam a bit of Merry/Pippin and Bilbo/Thorin (I own nothing except my ideas)
