Hey there!! My name is Ryan, I'm a 13 year old female. I have the mental age of the 55 year old, and the music taste of your drunk aunt at family gatherings, ranting about the good old days of rock. I have serious anxiety, PTSD, and insomnia. My father is a drug addict, and a certified narcissist. He has bipolar disorder, and had a rocky childhood. Also a serious republican, so he has all the best ingredients for an intense douche bag. I try to protect my little sister from both my father and everything else. She's like my child. Anyway, I usually will upload at night, or early in the morning, possibly every other week/weekend. Okay, now that we have the basics down, happy reading!

Can a woman with an old soul bring him back from the deep depression he still holds?

This book was written for the girl with an old soul. my journal full of memories and stories; These poems are honest and true of the wonders and scary things that occur in life as one grows older. These are the documents that illustrate the evolution from child to woman. A woman full of wisdom, freedom, stories, imperfections. She's still learning & I only hope that you can find guidance & hope & relatability in the words that she has written. Cover photo: Lisa Sorgini

Splinters of the Soul is a raw, unflinching journey through pain, memory, and the fragments that shape who we become. These poems trace the scars carved by childhood, the weight of love lost, and the quiet echoes of moments that never truly leave us. This collection is not just poetry it is survival, remembrance, and the voice of a spirit that refuses to be erased. It is personal. It is vulnerable. It is the sound of wanting to be heard. Let each verse pull you into a world where broken isn't the end... Just the beginning. Most importantly to be heard to be seen.

In the heart of the bustling city stood Dhwani's Library, a hidden sanctuary where the scent of aged paper and the soft rustle of turning pages filled the air. Amidst the labyrinthine aisles of books, Shantanu sought refuge from the chaos of the world, his soul finding solace in the quiet embrace of literature. It was within the hallowed halls of Dhwani's Library that Shantanu's path crossed with Shashank's-a chance encounter that would change the course of both their lives. Shashank, with his outgoing demeanor and chivalrous spirit, seemed to light up the room wherever he went. Yet beneath his charismatic facade, a soul tormented by confusion and doubt, struggling to come to terms with his own sexuality. As Shantanu and Shashank's worlds collided, they found themselves drawn to each other in ways they couldn't explain. Despite their differences, they shared a passion for literature and a longing for connection that transcended societal norms and expectations. As their friendship deepened, Shantanu became Shashank's confidant, the one person he could confide in about his inner turmoil. And as Shashank grappled with his feelings, Shantanu found himself falling for the charming yet troubled soul who had captured his heart. Set against the backdrop of Dhwani's Library-a haven for lost souls and kindred spirits-this is a tale of two men bound together by the pages of their own story. It's a journey of self-discovery, acceptance, and the transformative power of love to heal even the deepest wounds of the heart.

A figure walked aimlessly in an abyss, with motion of such dim weariness. Where sound is lost, no steps are heard. Without vision, no direction is found. Yet all transpires within the labyrinth of nothingness. And as it's where existence is bred, One, not more than Two, seeks its beginning. They wait, however, impatient. "P.. apa... papa..." It pleads. Inaudible as more arises, it knows no cease. It must finish its solemn vow. Until the endless space caves in to choke its words. The motion halts. Now within a tunnel, it stood... and from afar, as dull as it may be, a speck of light shone. "My beautiful Ahriadne..."
