Politics has never been for the faint-hearted, and those who step onto its stage face constant scrutiny and intense pressure. Steve Schmidt is a prime example. Known for his bold, no-nonsense approach, Schmidt has left a lasting impact on American politics through his fearless commentary and strategic influence. Once a key GOP strategist, Schmidt eventually distanced himself from the party, becoming one of its most vocal critics. His journey from Republican campaigns to outspoken political advocate reveals a commitment to honesty and accountability, even when it places him in the line of fire. Today, Schmidt champions democracy with a clear-eyed perspective, challenging norms and advocating for the principles he believes should guide American governance. His story is a compelling reminder of the importance of standing up for one's beliefs-even when it means standing alone.

The mission was supposed to be easy. Kill 20 humans, come home, and be rewarded with the utmost respect of all her peers and pave the ways for younglings on Asagua everywhere. So why was Ruxe having such a hard time? *** On the far away planet of Asagua, humans are considered the biggest mistake that the universe had ever made. They were loud, obnoxious, idiotic, violent, and disgusting, with all their senseless wars and hate. They have always made it their mission to kill as many humans as possible-- their ultimate goal being the extinction of the human race. It has been instilled in the minds of every Asaguan youngling that being a part of the resistance, being a "scout", was the highest form of honor in the Asaguan Hierarchy. *** Ruxe Zeneth is one of these younglings, and one of the most non-violent, non-confrontational aliens you will ever meet. She is kind, shy, and too curious for her own good-- which outcasts her from her peers and causes her to be an outcast. After being pushed by her father and various pieces of propaganda, she is appointed to become the next 'scout' by killing 20 humans on earth. If she succeeds, she will finally earn the respect of all her peers. If she fails? Exiled. Will she finally man up and prove everyone wrong? Or will two teenage humans change her perspective on the race? *** (NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR): This is my first piece of writing, and will probably (scratch that, definitely) need a bit of work. Constructive criticism is always welcome! (TAGS: coming of age, sci-fi, retro, moral, enemies to lovers, political commentary, alien) started on 3/29/26 :D

In the wake of one man's (Mohbad) tragic death, another man known only as VDM rose from obscurity to command the attention of millions. But behind the viral videos and provocative rants lies a dangerous playbook: sensationalism over substance, ego over empathy, and manipulation over truth. This long-form critique dissects VDM's tactics through the lens of media theory, misogyny studies, and the failures of Nigerian institutions. It examines how his rhetoric, arrogance, and vendettas, especially against actress Iyabo Ojo, thrive in a society where the justice system is broken and public trust in credible information is shattered.

I plan to eventually turn this into a podcast; when I do so I will post the link here. Until then, this is a story about a narrator who isn't in the world as we know it. They struggle with danger, feelings, color, and trust. That's pretty much all I can tell you. Is it a pocket dimension, is it a mental disorder, is it a personification of art, something else entirely? I leave it up to you to decide. For now, at least.

Dems' Only Hope: Socialism or Something Bold is a timely, provocative exploration of the Democratic Party's struggle to define its future. Since the Obama years, Democrats have wrestled with identity and direction. Too often, corporate-aligned candidates and cautious, incremental policies have left voters disillusioned, uninspired, and disconnected from the party's original promises. Meanwhile, grassroots progressives and young voters are pushing for something far more transformative - a vision rooted in fairness, justice, and people-centered policies often dismissed as "socialist." In this bold and uncompromising book, [Your Name] argues that the Democratic Party's only path to survival - and true leadership - lies in embracing progressive, socialism-inspired solutions. From universal healthcare to climate action, from economic justice to grassroots organizing, the book makes the case that Democrats must move beyond outdated playbooks and corporate ties if they are to mobilize voters and win lasting change. Drawing on case studies like New York's Zohran Mamdani and the rise of leaders such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, this book illustrates how bold policies can energize movements, expand the electorate, and secure the future of the party. Dems' Only Hope is not just a critique; it is a roadmap. It challenges Democrats to abandon fear, embrace boldness, and reclaim the values of fairness, equity, and opportunity that once defined them. For activists, strategists, and engaged citizens, this book offers a clear-eyed vision of what's at stake - and what's possible - if Democrats are willing to take the leap.
