With that said, this is a ninjago fanfiction focusing on lava and the RGB siblings. And a decent amount of Kai/RGB angst(?), so read at your own risk NO SMUT only fluff and angst 😈 (Swearing) (Homophobia) (Art not mine) Anyway here's the description Kai, Nya and Lloyd have... an interesting home life, to say the least. Their parents, Maya and Ray, are world travelling scientists pushing for the next major breakthrough in oceanic discoveries, and with their legacy overshadowing their children, expect only the best of the kids they had "raised." Kai, the eldest, was forced to step up for his siblings at a young age during his parent's frequent "business trips," sacrificing most of his early adolescence to help his brother and sister through school. With their parents largely out of the picture, the Smith children make friends, start relationships, and begin to thrive without the oppressive weight of Maya and Ray's impossible expectations. Sure, things are imperfect, and some aspects of their lives loom over their heads like storm clouds, but what they have is theirs, untouchable and wholly their own. Until one day it all falls apart. Three years later, Kai is finishing up high school when his parents decide to show up again- this time for good. As the drama of the siblings's lives build up, someone begins to quake from the pressure. Will they be able to keep their secret? Will old connections be reforged? After the death of Nya, the team fell apart. Jay seemed different and uncaring to the world around him, while Zane had shut off all emotion. only Kai, Cole, and Lloyd stayed together. Kai ends up getting his head banged up and a nasty case of amnesia. Lloyd and Cole stay by his side with the frequent cameo's of the Bizzaro Boys.

What if the ninja weren't stupid? The alliance keeps Krux and Acronix from jumping into time. Wu takes in Lloyd right away, so he doesn't have a chance to unleash the Serpentine. Zane knows how to bargain with Ronin, and if Ronin won't listen then Kai and Cole can beat him up. The ninja don't make stupid mistakes just for the sake of plot anymore. Krux and Acronix haven't been seen since they and the Time Blades were lost to the time stream. Until now. Finding Acronix beaten and bloodied, the ninja put the man in the hands of health professions and return to the monastery. While the rest of the team slumbers, Wu listens to the four vocally recorded tapes found with the time twin and discovers a stark difference in opinions and the deep-seated regret hidden behind the mask. (note: the parts are meant to be short in length and serve as set-up for Acronix's redemption) As usual, art on the cover is done by me as well and I hope you enjoy!

The last thing Kai remembered was a flash before ending up 20 years into the future. His friends are no longer the ninja, but rather their kids. What happens when those ninja were never told about Kai's existence and where are his friends and sister?
