Just as she resumed cleaning, she heard a distant crash, followed by a yelp. Reimu urgently rushed over to have a look, propping the broom on the outside of the shrine. What she came across was... not very surprising, but extremely unexpected. A certain black and white magician seemed to had crash-landed on the Hakurei shrine's lawn. Or, Marisa gets sick, and Reimu has to take care of her. Gayness and shenanigans ensue. ━━━━ there wasn't anything for these two i could really find on this site, so i'm trying my hand at writing something for them. this is the first time i've ever published any of my writing, so i'm unsure how long i'm going to make this, but nevertheless i sincerely hope you enjoy it! not beta read we die like junko's son. also posted on ao3 if you prefer reading there!

For centuries, the mansion had been home to Remilia Scarlet, a vampire of immense power, and her peculiar staff. Few dared to approach, knowing that those who entered the mansion rarely left unchanged. Tonight, as the moon hung low and full, a strange, electric tension filled the air. Something was stirring within its blood-red walls. "This isn't just about the ley lines shifting. Something is trying to break through the barriers between realms, and we're standing right on top of it." She turned to Koakuma, her eyes sharp with newfound clarity. "We need to warn Remilia. This storm... it's far more dangerous than we thought."

Reimu Hakurei has lived her whole life keeping the balance of Gensokyo. But when a strange girl appears in the storm-hair glowing like glass, eyes shimmering like broken circuitry-everything begins to unravel. Her name is Hatsune Miku. She doesn't belong in this world. She says she can't stay. And yet... Reimu can't stop listening to her voice. A song too fragile to exist. A love too doomed to survive. As the sky cracks, as reality trembles, Reimu and Miku cling to each other in the ruins of borrowed time. Every moment they share is stolen from a collapsing world. Every kiss is a promise they cannot keep. Because when the final note fades, all that will remain is silence.

The decision to take down the Hakurei barrier and allow Gensokyo to join the outside world again has went through, allowing the fantastical to thrive all over earth once more. A reinterpretation of the world of Touhou Project through the lens of an urban fantasy setting. This is a story written by multiple authors on a chapter by chapter basis, basically one big game of telephone, expect it to mostly not make sense. Anything and everything can happen. It's been around twenty years since the last incident in Gensokyo occured. Marisa Kirisame decided to settle while her best friend, Reimu Hakurei, still worked at her shrine. Three years have went by since Marisa came down with a fatal illness, and Reimu, who's surprisingly still in her teenage years, decides to visit her best friend one last time. Marisa gives Reimu one last task that she must not mess up. - This is really cringey and it's just an idea that I came up with so I'll be really surprised if someone actually took their time to read this. Fuyuko was three when Marisa died by the way. Characters might be out of character too.

A curse lies upon all of mankind. The thirst for knowledge, no matter how forbidden. Even a mere child reaches out to an open flame, wishing to understand it, only to be burned and scarred by the revelation. Truly there is no end to the insatiable hunger for truth within man. What is the meaning of life? How will the universe end? Is there a god? Has he abandoned us? What if Reimu had a gun? Today one of these questions will finally be answered. May you find peace within knowing, even if it leads to your demise.

Marisa wants to bring Reimu with her to a visit to the human village. And she also has a gift, I wonder if Reimu would enjoy it.
