Reimu Hakurei has lived her whole life keeping the balance of Gensokyo. But when a strange girl appears in the storm-hair glowing like glass, eyes shimmering like broken circuitry-everything begins to unravel. Her name is Hatsune Miku. She doesn't belong in this world. She says she can't stay. And yet... Reimu can't stop listening to her voice. A song too fragile to exist. A love too doomed to survive. As the sky cracks, as reality trembles, Reimu and Miku cling to each other in the ruins of borrowed time. Every moment they share is stolen from a collapsing world. Every kiss is a promise they cannot keep. Because when the final note fades, all that will remain is silence.

Just as she resumed cleaning, she heard a distant crash, followed by a yelp. Reimu urgently rushed over to have a look, propping the broom on the outside of the shrine. What she came across was... not very surprising, but extremely unexpected. A certain black and white magician seemed to had crash-landed on the Hakurei shrine's lawn. Or, Marisa gets sick, and Reimu has to take care of her. It's been around twenty years since the last incident in Gensokyo occured. Marisa Kirisame decided to settle while her best friend, Reimu Hakurei, still worked at her shrine. Three years have went by since Marisa came down with a fatal illness, and Reimu, who's surprisingly still in her teenage years, decides to visit her best friend one last time. Marisa gives Reimu one last task that she must not mess up. - This is really cringey and it's just an idea that I came up with so I'll be really surprised if someone actually took their time to read this. Fuyuko was three when Marisa died by the way. Characters might be out of character too.

And when the day came, the clock stroke midnight. He finds himself lost in a Bamboo Forest. While wandering around, he ends up encountering Reisen, who initially mistakes him for a invasor. After a surprising turn of events, Reisen realizes Haruki might hold the key to uncovering the remnants of the Lunatic Kingdom post-Great Lunar War. Our bro, Anthony Barren, is a college student somewhere in Florida, USA. Until one day, on an absolutely normal morning, our bro suddenly got warped into another world that he has no knowledge of! Apparently, it's a place called Gensokyo! What kind of story could unfold in this not-so-original-but-still-eccentric story? How would the girls and (singular) dude would react to this new menace of society? Damn, I wanna know as well, actually. Arts are completely mine lol, low effort but I find it functional lol. (COVER IN PROGRESS ;-;) Also, despite this story being a fanfiction, i have spiced it down so that even those that dont follow the Touhou franchise can understand. Though i recommend knowing a few things here and there about the series itself because it would be far more enjoyable that way.
