One year later. After the destruction of the bistro in the fire, the whole "Manon" situation... it's been tough. Rody's been living with his friend from college, Richard. He hasn't really been the same. He doesn't talk much anymore. Works, pays Richard, and lies in the bed he actually could afford now that he's not spending everything on Manon. Until at one party, everything changes. Because the man who'd ruined his life appeared. Even though he was supposed to be dead.
