Noemi grew up in a town diminishing rapidly by a mysterious plague. With no symptoms or any available information, the king of the land forbid anyone from entering or leaving the town, leaving the people of Saladyl to die. However, when a mysterious band of misfit sailors show up claiming to know where a cure can be found, Noemi is determined to help. She sneaks on board posing as her brother and embarks on a journey so bizarre she could never have seen it coming. Along the way Noemi ends up on an island unknown to her people and discovers not only the unexpected history of the land she lives on, but the history of her crew mates as well. This novel contains violence, and possible mature themes.

Ray couldn't be more different from Lucy if he tired. She is fiery, impulsive, and always living in the moment. In an effort to impress her, he agrees to swim through dark waters to steal a sailboat. This is by far the craziest thing he's ever done.

When Blake's mom takes him, his sister Lilly and his friends away from the stress of their home lives and brings them to Maui Island, he learns many new things an perspectives on life including romance. He meets a girl named Charli who has never left the island and who's only friends are her 3 brothers. Because of who she is and where she comes from, she continues to surprise him with her character and attitude towards the world.
