Seamusdever Stories

Kevin and Jenny Ryan's relationship felt so underused in the show. I'm here to give their story a bit more. Unscripted is a collection of little stories from Kevin and Jenny's life together. Their first meeting, their wedding day, the vacations, the kids, the arguments, the quiet nights at home, and all the moments in between. Some are sweet. Some are funny. Some might hurt a little. WARNING: 13+ just in case. This won't contain smut. If there are any chapters that get into more mature topics, I'll address it at the start of the chapter. Nothing will be overly graphic. None of these characters are my own. They belong to ABC and the creators of Castle. I try my best to stay true to who these characters are in every chapter. I won't make changes to the show's canon or have the characters act completely out of character.

Castle Origins: Ryan's Beginning Nine years before bestselling author Richard Castle ever stepped foot inside the Twelfth Precinct, Kevin Ryan was just another rookie trying to survive his first day on the job. Fresh out of the NYPD Academy, twenty-two-year-old Ryan is assigned to the Twenty-Third Precinct and partnered with veteran Training Officer Daniel Cross-a hard-nosed cop who believes mistakes are lessons, not excuses. Between missing children, lonely welfare checks, dangerous robberies, and the pressure of proving he belongs, Ryan quickly learns that the academy taught him how to be a police officer... but the streets will teach him how to become one. Follow Kevin Ryan's journey from nervous rookie to the detective we meet in Castle. Along the way, he'll forge lifelong friendships, make heartbreaking mistakes, face impossible choices, and discover that sometimes the smallest moments shape a career more than the biggest cases ever could. Before the Twelfth. Before Castle. Before Beckett. This is where Kevin Ryan's story begins. Warning: this story is likely to include a little more mature content later in the book when Ryan becomes a narcotics cop, plus there is some romance. Most of it isn't explicit but I can't guarantee it will stay that way. I'd recommend 13+

As I've been charmed by ABC Castle's Detective Kevin Ryan, and his actor, Seamus Dever, I've decided to make a whole One-Shot book for him. I'm moving any I posted on my Multi-Fandom Imagines (One-Shots) book into this book. These are all x Fem!Reader. I don't write smut. All rights go to ABC writers and directors and the actors of Castle.

It's Mother's Day, and Rick Castle, Javier Esposito, and Kevin Ryan have something special planned. What will happen when this dream team heads to the happiest place on earth?

Somewhat based on the show Castle, well the characters, I introduce to you high school sweethearts. Imagine Kate and Rick meeting each other before he was a writer and Kate was his muse, before she was a detective or captain. Just think, what would have happened if they met in high school, and continued their love story from there. Will Rick still be a writer? Will Kate become a detective? Is Lanie still Kate's best friend? Where are the boys? This is my first fanfiction, so I hope you guys enjoy and please leave me comments to let me know what you think. Always, H (me)

After LokSat, Ryan finds out he had feelings for Esposito... but Jenny.

BACK IN BLUE They were detectives. Now they're back in uniform... and Castle's loving every minute of it. After a high-profile case goes spectacularly wrong - with body-cam footage to prove it - Beckett, Ryan, and Esposito find themselves demoted and reassigned to patrol duty. The streets are the same, but everything feels different when you're back in blue. With Castle still along for the ride (and documenting their humiliation like it's research), the team is forced to navigate rookie mistakes, public scrutiny, and a growing mystery they're not supposed to be involved in. They've fallen from grace. But you can't keep good cops - or good friends - down for long. AGE WARNING: This story is recommended for readers 13+ due to mild language, romantic content, and some thematic violence/gore. While not explicit, parental discretion is advised.
