Heidi is an orphaned Midgardian who is immortal and enhanced. Thor brings her to Asgard but Heidi is long forgotten about when Thor finds a wife and has Markus, his heir. Heidi falls into the not so gentle 'care' of Odin. Loki is the son of Odin, Thors adopted brother. Abused and mistreated by Odin just as his adoptive brother treats his own estranged child. He's sees his past in this beautiful woman, he cares for her more than anything.
