Thirteen years ago, on the early morning of Sept. 11, 2001, 19 al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four passenger airliners and redirected the course of modern history. Two of those planes, American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175, were flown into the north and south towers of the World Trade Center complex in New York City; 37 minutes later, American Airlines Flight 77 smashed into the Pentagon. At 10:07 a.m., United Flight 93 went down in a field in Pennsylvania. The attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people ushered in a new era of homeland security and launched more than a decade of war. Sound bites – some intentional, some spontaneous and some pulled from cellphone records – from that day and the days that followed are reminders of the confusion, fear and horror that characterized 9/11. The words of world leaders, the deceased and those who survived are part of the historical significance of that day.

*This is a remake of a book I deleted do to the fact that it wasn't that good but I really liked the story line so I decided to just rewrite it . The only character I created is Olivia all the others are/were created by Shonda Rhymes aka Shondaland and the story line is partly inspired by the Hallmark movie "Meet My Mom" * Derek Shepherd was a widow his wife Addison was one of the first responders on 9/11 she died that day in the south tower of the World Trade Center. They were high school sweethearts and she was taken away from him just like that in the blink of an eye and so he told himself that he would never fall in love again which is why he decided to enlist in the army Meredith Grey was a single mother her daughter Olivia never knew her father he died before she was born that didn't matter Meredith was always there for her Olivia was the best thing that ever happened to her and when she wasn't with Olivia she was a doctor at Seattle Grace Hospital and do that she never gave time to herself But what happens when Olivia teacher assigned her class to write to soldiers and Olivia ends up being signed up to write to Derek Shepherd and what if some how their worlds collided and Meredith and Derek end up meeting each other do they end up with a second chance and fall in love with each other or do they get scared at the one thing they both deserve and run away Find out in my renewed version of A Warrior's Heart

This was a story I wrote for my English class as a junior in high school. Our task was to write a fictional short story that included a major event from history. I chose the tragedy of September 11th as my event. The story doesn't focus too much on 9/11, instead revolves around the horrible life of a man on the day that 9/11 happened. rated pg-13 for themes of suicide

A story about reigniting the flame of love, even after it seems like it has blown out. Ever since her abusive father murdered her mother, and her country was taken over by terrorists after the 9/11 disaster, life just never does seem to be getting any better for Carnate. But when her old friends Camic and Belle come back into her life, things change for the better. With the plan of running away from her devastating life stuck in Carnate's head, the group of teens plan to escape from the place they once all knew as children, bringing love and danger to clash. ~ REVIEWS "You are an amazing writer. "To others this was 'Ground Zero' but to me, this was the hell of my family" What would you be like if you had lost a loved one in September 11. Elinor Cooper had to go throught the loss of her father, Karl Cooper in the World Trade Center as well as her Aunt, Jen. who was at the pentagon. it had been 10 years since the devistation and as a promise to her dying mother. Elinor promised to come back to the place that distoyed her family. is this the moral of the story or is there a higher power at play hiding just below the surface.
