Patrick has had trust issues for as long as he can remember. But it's hard to do anything without putting your trust in others to help you. He also is just plain broken, and doesn't really understand how to love or be loved. He has no friends and somehow gets by with loneliness every day. Enter Pete: a bad alcoholic. Just because he's addicted to alcohol ranging from a little beer to a whole bottle of Everclear and Jungle Juice mixture, doesn't mean he's a bad person. In fact, he tries to help people the best he can despite his addiction. Patrick finally puts his trust in Pete's surprisingly loving hands, except it doesn't always end well... They try to help each other through all the bad, but sometimes they make their situations worse, in some instances it ends in drunken rages and abuse.
