When astrophysicist Elizabeth Ross discovers HBK-1- a vast region at the edge of the universe where cosmic expansion is mysteriously slowing- the data makes no sense. Something out there is taming entropy, holding shut invisible holes chewed in reality itself. As humanity builds a "Jacob's Ladder" to probe the anomaly, their first contact nearly tears the cosmic dam apart... until HBK-1 reacts to save them. Now the world must decide: exploit the greatest power source in history, or stand beside an unseen cosmic guardian and help hold back the end of everything. Elizabeth finds herself at the centre of a fight not for territory, but for restraint, responsibility, and what it really means to be worthy of survival. And yes I admit it, I recycled names etc. from numerous other #HFY & #HaSO stories.

And Dalek, a prisoner of the State of Aran, which leads the generation ship project, finds out that if the ship were to leave, it might turn into a living hell for those trapped on board.

A miniature space opera featuring the (un)happy lives of Mr. and Mrs. spaceman. Tragedy/comedy. Yeah I dunno what I was thinking when I wrote it either. Not my favorite project but it's something new. Least it's done. Wrote it years ago so don't hold me accountable for my terrible, terrible mistakes.

Two hundred and fifty miles above the earth, the International Space Station watches over our planet with its purblind eyes. Suspended in space like a giant spider dangling from its web, the Station sees many things but reveals nothing. On board, two Russian cosmonauts are beginning a three Month tour of duty. Their job is simple - carry out routine camera maintenance and general computer repairs. Although left to their own devices, Mission Control is in steady communications and requires status reports on a regular basis. After a restless night's sleep on board the Station, things quickly dissolve into chaos as our two cosmonauts make a series of bad decisions. Within the first few hours, cameras are turned off, computers are burnt out, consoles are chewed up and a fire breaks out in their quarters. The introduction of alcohol, a gas burner, cigarettes and a pet mouse may have had a minor influence on these events, but who can say?

[AzTech] File Retrieval - Archive 2438 8/4/2108 | Station Logs The crew had been working around the clock to keep the station maintained.
