Welcome to the first writing challenge from To The Stars...!! Our recent novel release Poet Anderson...Of Nightmares, written by award winning musician and producer Tom DeLonge and NY Times Bestselling author Suzanne Young, examines one teenager's world of lucid-dreaming nightmares and its relation to the Waking World. We would love to learn more about your ideas of the Dream World, the nightmares that live within them and the thin chasm that separates them from reality. This is a flash fiction writing contest where we would like you to write a short story, inspired by the novel and the theme #ofnightmares. It needs to be under 800 words in length. My entry for the '...Of Nightmares' writing challenge! This story is a small window into the idea of Voyagers, an expansion on the Poet Anderson universe. Voyagers are like passengers on a cruise ship - along for the ride with very little power of their own, only minimal influence on the dreamers they end up inside.

When we think of nightmares, we typically associate them with death, or fear, or horrible beasts chasing us through stores as we run away in our underwear. But in the dreamworld, nightmares could be anything. They could be something in our past that never stops haunting us. Or secret desires that are too long repressed. Energy is a powerful thing. Everything in the world is made up of it. So if we're collecting and releasing it out into the world all the time, where does it go? Or what does it become?

Lucille and James embark on what-should-be a journey across the sea to the USA, where they plan to kickstart their careers. hi, this story is about my best friend who sadly passed away in a car accident almost a year ago now. her dream was to become an actress someday and make her own movie about her life, since she can't fulfil that dream anymore I decided to write a book about her life instead. I miss her so much, and I loved her even more and I really hope you guys will love her and this book too.
