Feeding my obsession with this movie, I will single-handedly carry this non-existent fandom on my back Note: these stories take place in an AU of the Tower of Terror 1997 movie, with the same characters, but an alternate storyline that does not entirely follow canon. In this AU the ghosts are still waiting to get to the party, and follows the antics that occur during this time period (but in the current time instead of 1997). Abigail is also a ghost in this (her child form), but does not actively roam the hotel, instead opting to remain invisible most of the time. Rules such as the ghosts being bound to the hotel and not being able to use the main elevator are broken in favor of this AU. Some relationships and sexualities may also differ from the canon, and instead follow my personal headcanons. These characters aren't mine, so they may act different from the canon at times, either due to different understandings of them or me just being an idiot and forgetting certain character traits and/or aspects. Character designs follow the exact canon though, and names remain the same. All is taken from the 1997 movie, NOT the ride/its preshow. Also note that I haven't written in a while, I probably have a lot to improve on :)

This story takes place in 2026, five people travel to California together to learn more about the history behind Tower of Terror and the Haunted Mansion. As they travel from one part of the park to the other, they discover that weird things started occurring after they arrived to the parks. Sixteen year old Selene wanders around Disney California Adventure aimlessly searching for something. Then bumps into a mysterious man that always has a hat on and never speaks, 27 year old Kendall wanders around Disneyland trying to learn more about the Hollywood Tower Hotel and Gracey Manor. 36 year old James was looking for new pins to add to his collection but runs into a man with a hat on that never speaks. At 8:35 pm in DCA, all five of them wander into the Hollywood Tower Hotel and soon discover that the hotel hasn't had guests since 1939.

[FANFICTION] 16 year old twins Piper and Harper get a chance to reclaim their lives after the tragic deaths of their parents by being invited to move into the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Their grandfather had been an employee there until his sudden disappearance. Current workers feel bad for the orphans and invite them to move in. With no where else to go they move from Alabama to California. Life in Hollywood sure is different than life in Alabama. For Piper it's a chance to start her acting career. For Harper it's to forget her now dead boyfriend, Daniel, who got killed suddenly. The hotel has somewhat a tainted reputation and things start happening. Things that neither Piper or Harper can explain. And when people start disappearing, people ask themselves is history repeating itself? Terrified the girls want to break the curse before they become victims themselves. Yet, the hotel has no intentions of giving up its secrets...

Piper Fairyanne is your average seventeen year old girl. She goes to school, works a job, and hangs out with friends. She lives with her grandmother, Nora Fairyanne. They also just happen to live in the Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World. And her grandmother is actually the Fairy Godmother.

I am a huge Disney fan and am just making this based of the small pre-show and the area on the ride before the drops start.

However in this timeline, our protagonist is a 22 year old named Nathan Shine who is a rich son of big time actors who is just making his way in the world. Family friends with the Todd's whom him and the son of the owner (Matthew or "Matt" Todd who is a bellhop) of The Hollywood Tower Hotel are close best friends. This is a story of him trying to find himself and his way in the world- including love and discovering the true importance of the human relationship, something that the acting classing could not teach. However in the end, this tale is still a tragedy, and I think you may know how it will end.
