An idealistic poet is convinced he needs to do his part in keeping Joseon's moral after the grim fate they face under the japanese government and puts together a crew to go on tour through Korea. He falls for one of the members of his crew: the first korean opera singer played by Shin Hye Sun. If you enjoy romance that's pretty innocent but has a lot of emotional feels, you'll love the meloness nature of this book. It does deal with issues that some might be uncomfortable with ( suicide, infidelity) as a trigger heads up.
