Years after the events of Dragon Ball Super, Goku and his friends have passed away and a new generation of of defenders, led by Goku's student Uub has been protecting the Earth for years, however Earth's forces are not as strong as before, as the once mighty Saiyan blood amongst the descendants of Goku and Vegeta have diluted so much that they have lost the ability to utilize their legendary transformations! Seeing this weakness, a descendant of Cooler, Blizzar creates a clone of the Saiyan Goku in order to conquer Earth but when Blizzar is away a mysterious figure sends the child to Earth, where the pod the boy was in slams itself onto Kame House, where Marron, daughter of Krillin and Android 18, and now current master of the Turtle School resides. Named Son Goken by the still living Android 18, the boy begins his new life on Earth... and after a year of peace, Garment, a descendant of Vegeta and Bulma arrives and announces her intentions to hunt for the Dragon Balls....

In this story, Dragon Ball Z takes place after Dragon Ball Super Broly, and after Uub meets up with Goku and trains with him for a few years. In the Naruto universe it takes place when Boruto is around 12 years old. In the Naruto universe, in a desperate search for power a ninja seeks the universe and finds something called "The god's tree of might," which grants god of destruction levels of powers. Now, Goku and Naruto form an alliance to defeat him, but there are traitors amongst the fight.

Earth was once again under threat, thankfully only years after Vegeta and Goku had fused, to permanently become Vegito to defeat Majin Buu. Speedy, a half saiyan, half human, had become his apprentice, along with Uub. Darkflame had come as only a partial spawn from the Majin's power. Half Saiyan, part human, and part Majin, Speedy despised her, because of her capabilities to bring terror to Earth as other saiyans had in the past. Darkflame didn't understand why he only hated her, and not Uub as well Was it something against Saiyans? Or was it something more personal than that?
