"heading off to the shops for oreos. see ya." i shout to my dear sister luna. she waves in reply and i open the door to be slapped by the wind. ah fire truck you wind! i trudge out my house and get into my car. as i back out of the drive, i realise i forgot my phone. ambulance! that's my symonym for sh*t! oh well, it's not like anything will happen to me. i drive down our deserted road and head to the nearest shop which isn't near, ot's actually 40 minutes away but i guess it's the closest. yeah, i kind of live far, far away from civilisation...

i drive around the corner of this mountain thing and happily hum to myself when suddenly i lose control of the steering wheel and i tumble down the steep fall. ouch. that'll leave a few bruises. i attempt to get up but i'm too weak. geez i should start to work out. my arm gets stuck between the steering wheel and it twists as i try to get it out. ouchyyy! ayee a broken arm! i've always wanted a broken arm. as i finally get enough strength to get up, some metal from the car falls onto my head and everything goes black.

All of a sudden I saw another shadow flit across the street. I caught my breath but decided it was nothing, because I knew people would be out at 8 pm. I mean, it's not that late. Skylar grabbed my arm abruptly. "What was that?" My heart started pounding. "What?" Oreo started barking furiously. I looked around the street wildly. I couldn't see anything. Or anyone. "Aubrey," Skylar said. I glanced at her, silently communicating with her, and then we raced down the street. I heard footsteps behind us and ran even faster. We must be getting pretty close to the apartment complex by now. Suddenly someone grabbed my arm and yanked me back. I managed to scream before they covered my mouth with their hand. "Aubrey?" I heard Skylar cry in alarm. "Aubrey?!" I tried to get away from the person but he held me tighter, dragging me back down the street and towards an ominous-looking black car. I was being kidnapped. I stroke her hair and whisper "cry and let it all out, don't bottle it up." As these words leave my mouth I can feel her body start shaking, seconds later she is crying. 'No, he didn't'. I was so shocked by the turn of events. Everything was going fine and then suddenly boom, everything turned upside down. I just couldn't believe this. What did he think of himself? I charged at him with my cheetah speed, picked up a wooden rod and started hitting him wildly, 'You idiotic stinky breath was trying to steal my backpack. You are so dead.' 'Favour, favour, favour.' He was screaming in pain just after few seconds and was panting hard. I picked my paste from my bag and threw at him, 'Brush your teeth.' I was fuming. Right now, I'm squatting in a pile of human waste, desperately trying to get a signal on my phone. My friends are watching me reluctantly, their faces stained with blood and what I only hope is dirt.
