"I need a contract," I was looking at him directly in the eyes while he sat across from me, shirtless and every bit of sexy. He had that innocence about him, and a hidden glint of desire within his cool blue gaze. He raised an eyebrow at me, as if the idea was wild. Uncontrollable even. I kept my face straight, crossed my arms tightly over my chest. I could see it was taking every bit of him not to question me, until he finally couldn't hold back his curiosity any more. He didn't even have to say it out loud, I knew it was coming. "Why?" "Dating you means I'm going to get dragged by every man and woman that has eyes for you. I'd prefer it if I could keep my privacy. If this is going to work, I'm staying out of your limelight. No public outings, no double dates, I don't want any of that." He laughed a little, before he sighed heavy. I could tell this was his first time being asked something like this. I almost considered just cutting my losses and moving on. Almost. "I don't mind if your parents and siblings know, even a few friends that you trust, but I just don't want someone else telling my business," I was hopeful, I'm sure he could hear it in my voice. I liked him. I liked him a lot, but I wasn't going to let something like a relationship tarnish my business's brand, no matter how slim chances were. I had a living to make and goals to achieve. No man was about to get in the way of that. "Those all your terms, then?" He said without a hint of emotion in his expression. It was the one time since I'd gotten to know him that I couldn't decipher what he was feeling. I nodded, curtly, trying not to give away that I was patiently not-so-patiently waiting for his response. I stilled my shaky hands in my lap, keeping my eyes set on him so he didn't think I was backing down from my proposal. "Then I guess you've got yourself a deal."
