Naomi Carson is your average fifteen year old girl, she loves reading, music, and adventure. Well, at least the adventure in her books. There is only one thing that could ever change this. One certain appointment to the hospital. It started first as moles showing up on her body, mostly on her arms and neck, a few on her back, but then it grew to hundreds scattered across her body. She was diagnosed with Melanoma, a rare skin cancer that had the most kills. When Naomi learned of this, she didn't particularly understand, but her mother most certainly did. Still grieving Naomi's father's death, her mother did the best to keep her happy Two years later, they live on an island, but not a normal one? No, instead, this island has special origins that Naomi and her younger brother, Aatami, will figure out.
