Chelsea is only seventeen, but she's already gotten into her fair share of trouble -- breaking and entering and truancy, mostly. In a last-ditch effort to turn her from a criminal of the law to a straight-A student, her mother sends her to Greenwich Academy for Troubled girls, an all-girls school for troubled youth. Chelsea is reluctant to be there, but she plans on suffering through her final year and moving far away from her mother as she can. Things get a little more complicated when she learns she isn't the only one stuck in her ways, and when she learns about the school's mystery girl -- tall, dark, brooding, with an enigmatic past and strange haircut -- and then she walks in on her changing in the locker rooms... The rumors about her are vicious and cruel, and Chelsea has no idea why. Chelsea's final year of high school won't be as boring and predictable as she thought it would be. She'll just need to survive the drama, tears, fistfights, and finals for next ten months, and maybe find out a thing or two about mystery girl along the way.
