She laughed at me, "Why on earth would you do that?"

"Because I said I would." I twirled her around and pulled her back to me as I began to sing softly into her ear, "If the whole world was watching, I'd still dance with you; Drive highways and byways to be there with you. Over and over, the only truth: everything comes back to you."

She pulled away from me and looked at me. "Niall--"

"Siobhan, stop. Before you say anything, please let me say this first. I've been wanting to say this to you for I don't even know how long. And it's something I should've said a long, long time ago."

She let go of me and stepped back. She looked at me inquisitively before saying, "Okay."

I looked at her, she was finally going to let me say everything I had been longing to say. Now was my chance, and whatever the outcome, I would force myself to be content with it. I took a deep breath and began.....
