Jaye is a seventeen year old girl afraid to go a summer without her best friends by her side. They've done everything together, but this summer its a bit different. Jaye is alone. With her younger siblings to take care of, a job and trying to stay in touch with her friends she knows she won't get the fantasized summer love.

Michael is a normal eighteen year old guy who is still trying to figure out how to wrap the world around his finger. He plays guitar and has his hair dyed crazy colors but being taken seriously isn't one of the things he's known for. He hasn't got time for a girlfriend.

Stella's Café is known for being a great meeting place but Jaye doesn't care about that and neither does Michael. But when Michael meets Jaye, he can't not unnoticed her. He hasn't got time for girls but maybe he'd make time for this one.

Will Jaye be able to handle everything? Will Michael finally be taken seriously by this girl? Will Stella's Café be forever different for them?
