Dead world: The Dreaded Lady

Caleb is engineer working in the slums of the Capital, home of the tyranical Empire. Spending his days fixing mostly junk and whoring himself to his abusive boss in return for a indoor bed life is generally bleak and deppressing.
One day he gets invited onto a job for a legendary crime lord to retrieve some old world tech. The pay is good enough for him to leave the shop and start a new life, the only catch is the job goes to hell.
He barely escapes with his life and now has one choice, die and become food for some mutant, or join a smuggler and mercenary crew who's in need of a engineer.
