Jamila and the Beast

It was the post-Covid 19 era in Ghana, West Africa. There was less religious and ethnic bias and more cohesion. Though women were more receptive to suitors with different social backgrounds, they had their limits.

There were some men they just abhorred; men who thought every venture in life as a project and they must do everything in their power to succeed. Jamila noticed this trait of Bolton's and tried as much as she could to discourage him in order to protect her future happiness.

To her, her immediate boss, Felix was her safe bet. She believed that he would be her future husband. Then out of the blue, Bolton slinked in to capture her heart and yet she was happier than she could ever be with anyone.
