Grim Reapers Are holy creatures created to guide souls to the afterlife. As a reward, the gods gave them a special gift, soulmates.

Grim is the most conveniently named Grim Reaper of all time and he hates it. Finally finished with his training, he and his dad move back to Harkwood. Once there he can't help but feel a strange pull to one of the kids in his class.

All Leland wants is to cruise through high school but when a strange boy moves into the house next to him his plans of falling into the shadows become nearly impossible.
