"It's...fitting." He responded, looking around. "You live alone?" he asked, eyes darting from one corner of the house to another. "Don't you get lonely? Or afraid?" he asked further. Jean stopped mid-step and turned around.
"I didn't say I do." She responded. For a minute, she heard her conscience asking her to reconsider...
