Time is a complicated thing. Everyone sees it as one continuous path, a line from past to present to future that people travel down as they go. But the truth is far less simple. Time is, in certain spots, rigid, yes, but in other spots, it's flexible. In those spots it can loop and twist and become tangled in knots. No two women know this better than Kate and Lila. Lila is a seer. The future comes to her in dreams and visions, and she chases answers in it through crystal balls and playing cards and scrying bowls. Piecing it together is a task only she can accomplish, but it weighs heavily on her. The future is full of horror and danger and it haunts Lila, to the point where she wonders why she must be the one to see it. What she doesn't know is that her life is far more important to that future than she could ever dream. Kate is a time traveler. She thought her days of being forced to other times and places are over, but oh is she wrong. When she's thrown back in time, she must stand alone in a fight to get back to her loved ones. The only thing is, she's been sent back for a reason, and that reason seems to be influencing the life and timeline of a young but powerful seer. As Kate hops through time, Lila wonders about the mysterious woman who appears both at various points in her life, and in some of her most profound visions. Why is she here? What makes her so important to the future? And how is Lila herself involved in all of this? These two girls are connected by far more than time, and their choices will have an incredible impact on the world and their own families. They just don't know it yet.
