How does one fit in a world that doesn't need their talents? How does one find love in a world that's only given them hate? How can one fit in a world where they shouldn't even exist?

Equestria is know as a wonderful place to live in. It's the friendliest place in the whole world. Many powerful foes were defeated by using the power of love and friendship! And yet....how is it that these ponies can't seem to find where they fit in this place?
