Zora made everyone and herself included believe that she moved to Bradwood to pursue her career dreams of working for a Small town Magazine, the truth was that she was running from a Toxic relationship that lasted too long. She knew if she could just get away from him that she would be able to blossom like she knew she could and find someone to love her properly.

Derek grew up in Bradwood. He was living his best life a year ago. Working at the top law firm in Georgia, engaged to the girl of his dreams, and on his way to becoming the youngest Partner in the company. He had to let all of that go when his mother passed away and his father grew ill. Not only did he had to leave his job but his fiance stayed where she was and moved on to someone else.
