Rue is thrown out of his only home by his grandparents. With nowhere to go he makes himself comfortable in his temporary surroundings until he thinks his grandparents will accept him again.

What Rue doesn't expect is to be kidnapped and taken to a whole new world. Now he has to learn to survive living with a supernatural mommy and daddy and different mythical siblings. There is also the option of escape...
