Its the fall of 1998, and sophomore Charmaine "Char" Cromwell is worried about the fate of her crush on Vincent "Vinnie" Hacker whose graduating in the spring. She has kept her feelings quiet, knowing that her and Vinnie hooking up could cause unforseen problems, especially since he's a senior and she's just a sophomore.What happens when he leaves high school and starts his new life as adult and she's still just a kid? But one night at a party, Vinnie tells Charmaine how he feels and she realizes she can never be apart from him again.
