"Christmas was my favourite time of the year, but it was also the hardest. I thought about Dad constantly, and how much I ached for him to be with us, particularly now.

On my darker days, even after ten years, I sobbed for him as Draco held me tightly and rubbed my back. On these days, I didn't leave the house much.

But today was a good day, as most days were now. Things were starting to look up, and I was determined that this year would be the perfect Christmas."
