The Elderwood Chronicles is a fanfiction story based on The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, and the many Middle Earth history books that exist. The first book begins many years after the War of the Ring in the Third Age and the departure of Frodo Baggins from Middle Earth. This story is about the adventures of Rowanillie Took in Middle Earth to save her home, the forest of Elderwood, home of Elven King Thranduil and his son Legolas. Delve deep into a captivating tale about the courage of hobbits and the strength of friendship.
A/N: Hello! My name is Kait and I'm a huge fan of Tolkien! This story is my continuation of the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. It's simply fanfiction and is not to be taken seriously. I do change some of the canon! Instead of Legolas and Gimli going to the Undying lands, my series' lore has them stay and build a little society of Elves, Hobbits, Dwarves, and Men in the forest of Mirkwood, now named Elderwood. Read the prologue in full to know a bit of the history behind this series!
I'd like to warn I do not post often! Please be really patient with this book and series. I get very bad writer's block often. I'd like to finish this, so any motivation/inspiration helps! As always, thanks for reading!
