As 17 year old Derrick Megray walks into a therapy session as part of his probation on an assault charge. his therapist quickly discovers that Derrick is one of the most complex individuals she has ever met. he comes across as a punk, a thug kid who values nothing but self gain, but as she digs a little deeper through subtle interrogation, she discovers not only his horrific past, but a hidden flaw in the system that has driven Derrick to the point of hatred. this story follows one therapy session with a boy who seems to know more about therapy than his therapist. and who teaches her just how damaging therapy can be to the desperate.
