Snakebitten Sweethearts (A NatePat AU)

This is a story about theory analyst Matthew Robert Patrick (better known as MatPat, who hosts The Game Theorists web series and its spin-offs) and musician Nathan Smith (better known as NateWantsToBattle). Nathan meets Matthew in his school as the latter studies for his junior and senior year there. When the class starts disliking Matthew, Nathan feels forced to join in, which the former quickly finds out about. Nathan's feelings become more apparent when he sees another side of Matthew after an unforeseen event shakes up his life. Matthew eventually confronts Nathan about the things that he said, and they drift off as they start college. When their lives cross again one day, Nathan desperately tries stopping his feelings for Matthew from showing as he learns about the latter already having a family of his own. What awaits Nathan as he opens up to Matthew about his feelings for him? And has Matthew already forgiven Nathan for his past actions? Find out in this story...
