Ice Cold Sylvie Bishop lives in a world where people are born with supernatural abilities called 'Skills' and she possesses a particularly powerful one- the ability to control ice. Throughout her life, Sylvie has learnt that people will always fear her and that she should embody that fear. At her academy, she rarely speaks to or interacts with any of her classmates and drives them away- barely anyone knows what lead to the way the girl acts except her only friend.

Warm-hearted Amber Marvel is beloved amongst the people who know her. Her cheery and bright personality never fail to bring a smile to their faces. She may not know who her parents were but she loves those around her and always strives to make everyone happy. She was blessed with a powerful skill to control fire and she makes sure that everyone's heart is full of warmth and joy. She tries her hardest to get everyone to open up and trust her- but Sylvie makes that difficult. Until a situation forces Sylvie to ask for Amber's help, and from here Sylvie experiences what it's like to have friends at your side. How will Sylvie react to change? What lurks beneath their world? And how does a recent threat relate to all of our main characters?
