ok, this is my first story so bear with me. There will be somewhat slow updates depending on how I feel each week, but I'll try to keep up!
this is a kind of backstory/sidestory on one of the characters in another series I will be making later on. after I finished this one and another one similar to this one-
I wanted to start off with shorter and smaller stories to build my writing skills before I take on a big writing project that I'm planning.
this is a series completely based off of the series made by Erin Hunter named "Warriors", or mostly known as warrior cats. this series has all original characters I made based off the series. they are in the old forest and no, sky clan is not here, I wanted to add them but there would be no point, but that could change.
this side story doesn't start in the clans, it starts off with a kittypet mother and her kit, she had her kit in a large tree just outside the kittypet home and brought her kit back after a few days when they were both ready for travel, this series is from the POV of the kit, Silver.
Warnings: there will be abandonment, mommy issues, and some gore in this, if you aren't okay with cats fighting and getting injured then this isn't for you. There will also be cats in future stories that are LGBTQ+ so don't read if you don't like that either.

Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her. Disclaimer: First of all, I want to make clear that this is heavily inspired by Maltose's au, but in a different setting. Also, if you're familiar with West Woods from Moss-shadow, there's a little bit of that too, especially with the name Sliverstone. They are two different characters though. And overall, it's inspired by Warrior Cats, by Erin Hunter. This is a fanfiction I started writing when I was about 11, so don't take it too seriously. I wanted to post this here because ik that a lot of younger people use this and I'm more familiar with Wattpad in general. Also because I have a random ass fanfic laying around doing nothing so my brain decided to show the world this weird amalgamation. Final notes: English isn't my mother tongue so if there's something wrong with the phrasing or just mistakes, yk why. There are also some unpolished parts but oh well. So here's what this story's actually about, brought to you by my overly anxious and somehow bored essence. A young housecat, Rusty, wanders off into the forest and realizes "woah this is cool and oh shit im important :D" but he has to face a lot of prejudice due to his origins.
