Every college student's dream is to have their own place but that usually comes with strings attached. There's two nightmares either you're stuck in the affordable shoebox or you're blowing through your paycheck just to keep up with rent. So when Mila's cousin offers to put in a good word for her at his old apartment complex it feels like a miracle, that is until she meets the neighborhood loner who won't stop challenging her. For some their college years are their "best" but for Theo that's the farthest from true. No matter how hard he tries to blend into the background and stick to himself there are the few that slip through to the cracks and who he eventually calls friends. Except a recent neighbor he befriends seems to be much more than what he expected. And for the two it's becoming apparent they can't catch a break from each other as they seem to meet in the most random of places. Through those small moments the layers begin to unravel until ultimately they're left to wonder if they're more alike than they'd like to admit. Two sides of the same coin , what will come about this journey?
