Axl finds himself sealed inside his house with his two friends, Jasper and Alison. Someone-or thing- is setting them various tasks that they must complete. The problem is that a terrifying creature is lurking inside with them, threatening to pounce on them at every moment. Is this creature the one that is testing them? And if they complete the tasks, will they be allowed to leave? The three friends will have to rely on each other to escape the horrors that have infested the house.

The Fairy
An unidentified amount of time after Gumball Watterson encouraged Penny Fitzgerald to break out of her shell and be herself, a new threat has emerged from the world of infinite static with the intention of capturing the one fairy who exposed herself to the world. This sends the two of them on the run from not only Rob, but a new enemy like none the town has ever seen before (even by Elmore's standards). With the entirety of Elmore, and possibly the world, at stake, the two lovebirds are indirectly sent on a journey both physically and emotionally. Gumball is now introduced to the darker side of the fairy's emotions and her feelings about herself and her powers.
