She is THE Rebecca Blake Thornton after all. The leader of The Rippers , An infamous organization working for the "good of people" as Rebecca says , Their work is to kill the criminals. The Rippers beleive that the law would never do justice thus they have to kill the criminals even though it makes them the villain in most of the people's eyes. 
Well as you may have understood by now.... Rebecca's life is nothing easy it's full of chaos and blood. Tired of all the work Rebecca decides to take a break and live a normal life with different identity for a while. But where there is Rebecca there is trouble.
What happens when her secret is revealed? Is she really that bad as people say? We will find out soon.
