The Dinner at the Hornes made me realise that if there is something that I am not good at is family dinner.
It required alot of deep breaths energy to keep my cool and not kill Vanessa she asks way too questions for my liking except the questions and stupid jokes the dinner went good I expected someone to take advantage and attack me but seems like they aren't a threat they're just normal people , it was stupid to believe that someone like Alex and his family could do harm or be involved with my enemies but I have been betrayed way too many times and having alot of enemies all around the world didn't help I have grown this habit of doubting everyone around me to be a threat.
As per the report florence gave me regarding the background of the Hornes they aren't even close to being a threat.
Vanessa . Alex's mother. Is a Australian women she owns a ice cream parlour and she is wayyy too friendly.
Her husband, Alex's father Jordan. Is half British and half Australian , he is a doctor at Town heart hospital.
Alex was born in England and his family moved to Australia when he was 3 years old. He is a mama's boy and his little sister , Lillian goes to primary school he has a close bond with her . Overall The Horne family loves each other dearly.
The doorbell ring broke my chain of thoughts , I was sitting on my couch watching TV except that I wasn't paying attention to the movie my mind was still going back to the file I recieved from Florence , don't know why but I can't stop thinking about Alex and his beautiful smile. I opened the door and took the pizza and paid the delivery girl and sat back on the couch eating pizza when my phone rang "Hello?" I answered the call
"Rebecca!! I am so excited for tonight it's been so long since we hung out" Elliana , My one and only friend said from the other side of the phone .
It's been a week since I came here my birthday is near Elliana is trying so hard to convince me to celebrate my birthday but her efforts are in vain i never celebrated my birthday and i won't be changing my mind. However I did had plans with her tonight we were going to a club.
"Yeah I am excited too Ell , where are you?" I said
"On my way to your place we will get ready together.. and i also bought you gift it's a dress" - Elliana yelled excitedly
"Damn stop yelling Ell.. focus on driving I agreed to go to the club with you not to take you to a hospital"
I replied to her with a hint of sarcasm
"Fine err..I will be there in half an hour" - Elliana
i hung up.
