Will Byers has been through so much trauma between being held hostage in the alternate dimension we all know as The Upside Down, and the emotional and physical abuse of his alcoholic father Lonnie. Will starts to pick up some of his fathers alcoholic tendencies at the start of his junior year. He is now a senior at Hawkins High and unsure if these "tendencies" will end.

Mike Wheeler is Wills best friend, though there are times where he will stare into Wills eyes and wish to be way more, but has no clue if Will feels the same way. Does he? Or will Mike ruin everything by confessing? Or will Will feel the same and they can spend their lives together, happy?
