Crumbling To Pieces

I never knew I was capable of feeling so much loss in such a little amount of time. If I had known how much I was going to miss you I would have chased a more adventurous future with you when I had the chance.

But, now, just like the plate after a slice of cake I am nothing but crumbs..crumbling at the edges and just waiting for the next wave of pain and sorrow to hit.
