It was supposed to be over.

It looked like it was over. Everyone wanted it to be over. With Madeline on the throne, Itari had finally started to stabilize--no more revolts, and the people were happier. Even the knowledge that M.C. was still out there, still plotting, wasn't enough to dampen anyone's spirits.

But when unrest starts to rise again in Itari, spurred on by M.C. and his puppet cast, things take a turn for the worst. Already under suspicion for being so young and in such high positions of power, the people begin to scrutinize the castle and the government within, turning quickly despite their newfound fortune. As tensions heat up between Itari and Aeloni, Annabelle, Nicole, Leo, James, and now Madeline must find a way to keep things from blowing up in their face, and strengthen their hold on the throne.

And all Annabelle wanted was a pasty.
