a 16-year-old girl named Ophelia Lee who finds out she's pregnant in the midst of an apocalypse. Ophelia has run away from home and her parents, leaving her to fend for herself. She meets a redneck named Daryl Dixon and a pizza delivery guy named Glenn Rhee, who help her navigate the dangers of this new world. Daryl and Glenn find Ophelia while they are out scavenging for supplies. Daryl doesn't know about Ophelia's pregnancy because she keeps it hidden, but the two become best friends and eventually lovers. Along the way, Ophelia has to deal with her ex-boyfriend, who is also trying to survive the apocalypse. As she faces the challenges of being a young mother, Ophelia must also protect her child and survive the apocalypse. Will she be able to overcome the obstacles in her personal life and come out on top?
