EXCERPT "Open the the door. I'm leaving for Karachi, right now." Meerab turned to say to Murtasim who was standing just behind her. She jumped to find him so close. "You know very well that you can come to Khan Haveli on your own will. But you cannot leave untill I say so." He smirked. "You also don't want me here." She tried to make him see sense. "Who said that. Maybe you've forgotten but i remember very well that you are still my wife. The divorce is not legally final yet." He moved closer making her move backwards. "And my wife's place is by my side." "You c..cannot keep me here against my will." She stammered. Her back hit the door behind her. "There was a time i was ready to compromise my values, my tradition for your love. But now, neither do i love you anymore nor do i respect you. So why should i not take what is rightfully mine." He whispered biting her earlobe. ___________________________________________ SUMMARY It's been four years to Meerab and Murtasim's seperation.
