A woman at eighteen thought she had fallen in love with the man of her dreams but once she fell pregnant. The man she thought she once knew turned into a man she swore never to be around. He was abusive, mostly mentally because once he hit her, she was gone. She moved to a different part of the United Kingdom where she gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl. It wasn't until her ex was threatening her eleven years later when she decided to move and visit her brother who was living in the United States, That's when she and her daughter get stuck in an apocalyptic world with the dead isn't dead but is living. This is where she meets a rugged redneck who swore to not let anyone in but when her bright and bubbly personality was constantly around him, he learns to open up to her.

It's the beginning of the world collapsing but the beginning of a new life.
