18 Aeons, 18 Paths. The Aeons have been fighting since the dawn of time and have formed many factions. However, there are still 2 more Aeons that are the origin of the universe. These are the Aeon of Desire: Discord and the Aeon of Obstacle: Jougami. Those two Aeons fought each other for ages, and as a result both were annihilated. However, Discord before his death left those who believed in him a strength that enabled them to walk in his path. They are the Kamen Riders. Over thousands of years, the seeds of Jougami have spread throughout the universe, creating the Jyamato.
